Yeppoon Lagoon a hit with bloggers!

Bloggers, Travel Writers and Tourism Trade have been extremely impressed with our destination’s new products over the past month, particularly the Yeppoon Lagoon and that incredible infinity view over Great Keppel Island!
Capricorn Enterprise recently hosted Christine Retschlag, international Freelance Travel Writer and she was very impressed with Yeppoon Lagoon, naming it number 9 out of 25 Top 25 Top Spots you haven’t been yet!
Christine’s weekend Cover Feature for News Ltd Escape, went all around Australia with a digital circulation 400,000; Print circulation, 600,000, 1 million reach. Click here to read the full list.
This was in addition to the amazing blogs and content creation she has written for our destination which includes a large number of our new and existing experiences – watch this space!
Capricorn Enterprise also recently hosted bloggers Trip In a Van as part of our Drive the Great Barrier Reef Promotion in partnership with the seven (7) Regional Tourism Organisations along the Great Barrier Reef and the great support of Tourism and Events Queensland.
These very groovy bloggers have a following of over 82,000 Facebook fans and 17,400 Instagram followers. Pictures of the Yeppoon Lagoon received over 1,300 Likes (with an amazing 800 positive comments and 65 shares!) and their post about Double Heads National Park lookout received over 600 Likes (with 100 positive comments and 13 shares)!
These are just two examples of our work right across the region including many of our operators, but brand new product like the Yeppoon Lagoon is certainly a great ‘hook’ to tell a new story with media!
One of our major destination campaigns in market at the moment is thanks to our partnership with Tourism and Events Queensland.
Many of our key tourism attractions are highlighted in a listicle about the best things in our region – special mention goes to Dig The Tropic, Major Winter Events, Carnarvon Gorge, Great Keppel and Pumpkin Islands, the Great Western Hotel and the Award winning Waterline Restaurant at Keppel Bay Marina.
