Takarakka Bush Resort – Central Highlands People’s Choice Award Winner!

Capricorn Enterprise again partnered with Central Highlands Development Corporation for their biennial Business Excellence Awards. The Central Highlands Business Excellence Awards are designed to celebrate the efforts and achievements of the diverse community of the Central Highlands. The awards recognise business contribution, not only to economic vitality but to creating the strong, healthy, vibrant regional community that is the Central Highlands.
Congratulations to Takarakka Bush Resort, Carnarvon Gorge for taking out the coveted People’s Award which is an award where the public nominate a business for their outstanding customer service, and the winner is determined by public vote. Takarakka won this accolade from a field of almost 50 businesses across the entire region.
There were six finalists in the “Tourism, Hospitality & Events” category including two Capricorn Enterprise members – Miners Heritage and Takarakka Bush Resort. We congratulate Roses and Beans for taking out the award in this category.
The awards attracted 118 nominations overall. The Awards Gala Dinner was attended by 250 guests, with winners awarded in all eleven categories in addition to the people’s choice award. Fair Dinkum Meats and 4T Consultants were inducted into the Hall of Fame.
