7NEWS Young Achiever Awards

The 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards are designed to acknowledge, encourage and most importantly promote the positive achievements of all young people in Queensland up to and including 29 years of age.

Do you know an outstanding young individual who deserves to be recognised?

There are a number of categories open, such as the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Achievement Award, Regional Achiever Award, and the Online Achievement Award, just to name a few.

The Awards are free to enter, all you need to do is click here to get started.

Want to recognise someone but don’t have the time? No problem, simply Refer Someone – It takes only 2 minutes to complete the form and the 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards team does the rest! It’s that easy!

Great prizes are up for grabs! Category winners will each receive a trophy and $2,000. The Queensland Young Achiever of the Year will receive an additional $2,000, along with a magnificent state trophy.

Plus, a media release will be sent to each of the nominee’s local papers encouraging them to write a story, and every nominee will receive a certificate of achievement!

To find out more about the Awards, and view the full list of categories open for nominations, please see the website.

Nominations close Thursday 12th December 2019.
