Additional ferry service ‘Konnecting’ more visitors to Great Keppel Island

Over the past months, thousands of visitors and locals have taken the 30 minute ‘overseas’ trip to soak up the exceptional sub-tropical days, and ferry services including Keppel Konnections and Freedom Fast Cats have been inundated with bookings, reaching capacity as more and more people journey to the island paradise.
In response to the increase in bookings, Keppel Konnections will launch an extra service from Monday 19th October through until January 2021, which will depart Keppel Bay Marina daily at 7:30am, and furthermore, include a complimentary coffee from Great Keppel Island Hideaway to kick start your day!
“Following the pressure that COVID-19 placed on the tourism sector, it has been such a welcome relief to see visitors and locals jumping back on board to explore their own backyard,” Eloise Chaffers from Keppel Konnections/GKI Hideaway said. “The additional service will maximise accessibility to Great Keppel Island and encourage more visitors to come and explore our barefoot paradise.”
