Update on the Queensland Government’s Zero Emission Vehicle Initiatives
Posted on July 6th, 2021
Following the announcement of the development of a new Queensland Zero Emission Vehicle Strategy (ZEV), the Queensland Government is engaging with the community to inform the development of the strategy.
We would encourage you to make a written submission (email to zevstrategy@tmr.qld.gov.au) to advocate for a Queensland Regional Coastal Connection strategy that includes Yeppoon as a destination for a charging site as part of the Queensland Electric Super Highway (QESH) extension. Click here for A sample submission letter for your consideration.
You are also invited to complete the 10 minute public survey (https://www.transporttalk.tmr.qld.gov.au/jfe/form/SV_0P4NqnccOA83C06) about electric vehicles.
Please feel free to share the survey link with your networks, colleagues, and anyone interested in the future of ZEVs in Queensland. Both the online survey and written submissions close at 11:00pm on Friday 9 July 2021.
