Destination IQ Conference – Wednesday 10th November

Tickets are now on sale for the Queensland Tourism Industry Council’s (QTIC) premier event, Destination IQ.
The annual Destination IQ conference is Queensland’s leading First Nations Tourism event and tickets are now on sale for the Wednesday 10 November conference, held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Bringing together industry leaders, employers, government representatives, and anyone passionate about advancing First Nations tourism.
Each year, the event encourages people of all backgrounds to come together to discuss opportunities, issues and strategies that are influencing and shaping tourism stemming from the world’s oldest living culture.
Held in the Year of Indigenous Tourism, the theme for the 2021 event is ‘Heal Country’. With the full-day program including a wide-range of renowned speakers and panellists. Topics such as ‘How we are changing the attitude to guesting on Country’; ‘Beyond Sport: Unlocking the potential of First Nations for 2032’ and ‘Treaty, truth telling and tourism’ will be discussed.
Following the conference, guests will have the option to attend a celebratory dinner to conclude the Year of Indigenous Tourism. With an exciting menu that infuses fine dining with ancient flavours inspired by Indigenous cooking methods.
