Recently, volunteers from the Capricorn Coast Visitor Information Centre in Yeppoon joined their supervisor, Sarah, on a day trip to Byfield to familiarise themselves with the location in order to share their knowledge with visitors.
The team spent some time at Getaways at Byfield, viewing the secluded accommodation and facilities before taking a short hike to the creek and basking in the beauty of this spectacular spot.
Capricorn Coast Visitor Information Centre volunteers are a group of passionate locals, brimming with expert guidance and solutions for holiday makers. The 35 volunteers at the Centre regularly visit tourism businesses across the Capricorn Coast, ensuring that their knowledge of the essential ‘must do’ experiences within their backyard remains strong and relevant.
The full accredited Capricorn Coast Visitor Information Centre is located at the Ross Creek Roundabout, and is open 7 days a week from 9.00am – 5.00pm. Drop in and say hello to the team!
