Rockhampton railyards rejuvenation – Expression of Interest and industry briefing

The Queensland Government recently purchased the Rockhampton railyards with the intention of returning rail manufacturing to Rockhampton. They are now planning the best use of the site.
Expressions of Interest are sought from suitably capable manufacturing businesses—or those growing their capability—to lease part of the railyards.
This is a once-only opportunity to be a foundation member of the Rockhampton railyards precinct, establishing it as a centre of supply chain and rail manufacture.
An Expression of Interest to shortlist potential future tenants will be launched on Wednesday 20 July 2022 at an industry briefing.
