Following a hugely successful event in 2021, the prestigious Gala is back on our calendars for another year and with this year’s extravaganza proudly powered by Optus, the answer to ‘will you be attending?’ is YES!
Presented collaboratively by Capricorn Enterprise and Capricornia Chamber of Commerce, the region’s premier awards event highlights the achievements and capability of our local businesses and their people.
Featuring a gourmet three-course dinner, beverage package and live entertainment provided by popular local musos Side Hustle, the event, hosted by MC Brad Villiers, will offer a chance for business representatives to mingle, let their hair down and celebrate their year’s success.
With over 200 guests attending last year’s Gala, Capricorn Enterprise CEO, Mary Carroll is once again looking forward to bringing our industry leaders together to acknowledge excellence and exceptional achievements.
“The Best in Business Awards Gala will crown the winners across nine categories including Best New Business, Best Small Business, Best Medium Business, Best Large Business, Best Community Enterprise, Best Employee as nominated by an Employer, Best Apprentice or Trainee as nominated by an Employer, Best Accessible Business and People’s Choice,” Mary said.

Capricornia Chamber of Commerce President, Phil Henry is encouraging the local community to get behind the Awards, nominate their business and bring their staff along for an unforgettable night of fun.
“Nominations are now open until 14th October before they are handed over to our panel of independent judges for review,” Phil said.
“From apprentices to long-standing employees, small family operations to large scale businesses, there’s an Award category to suit everyone.”
“Furthermore, an exciting new category has been added this year which focusses on those businesses who excel at diversity and inclusiveness, outpacing their competitors by respecting the unique needs, perspectives and potential of all their team members and customers.”
