YEPP… the proof’s in the can. We love our local beer here on the Capricorn Coast!

With their first anniversary approaching in March 2023, YEPP Brewing Co’s founders, Justin and Tanya from YEPP Brewing Co. are getting the ‘hop’ on the explosive craft beer industry, installing a brand new three-vessel brewhouse to double their production capacity.
Since swinging open the doors to their coastal brewery and tap room back in 2022, the locally resonating brand has experienced 12 months of steady growth, enabling an upgrade of equipment to meet greater supply on demand.
With a solid vision to inject Queensland’s sunny, tropical climate into a thirst-quenching ale, YEPP Brewing Co. recently celebrated silver medals at the Independent Brewing Awards and will proudly represent their locale of Yeppoon at Brisbane’s upcoming Great Australasian Beer SpecTAPular (GABS) in June.
“Beer drinkers are now choosing higher-quality beer, and we have worked hard to developed and deliver a taste that is perfect for this destination and the people living here,” Tanya said.
“YEPP has been so well embraced by the local community and we know that the new brewhouse will enable us to increase our capacity and spread the brand even further – not only locally, but further afield.”
“We have also purchased a state-of-the-art canning line so we will be able to can all of our range on site and have the ability to take on limited release options and special orders,” Tanya said.
With taps already heavily flowing across several venues on the Capricorn Coast, YEPP Brewing is currently looking for new customers, inviting local pubs, clubs, and venues to consider including a local line to their offering.
“This is Yeppoon’s beer, and for visitors and locals alike, there is nothing like drinking a fresh frothy in the town it was made,” Tanya said.
YEPP Brewing Co’s brewery and tap room are located just seven-minutes’ drive from Yeppoon’s beachfront in the suburb of Hidden Valley.
In addition to their expansion, Justin and Tanya are also working on a collaborative brew project with a small brewery in Northern Ireland – Tanya’s hometown.
“We are partnering with a little beach town just like Yeppoon to have a bit of fun and show that coastal flavours can be universal,” Tanya said.
More details on this project will be announced soon.
