Members Networking Night unveils Rockhampton’s fascinating present and past

Over 50 business representatives attended Capricorn Enterprise’s Members Networking Night on Wednesday 19th April, kicking off with networking, drinks and nibblies at Artizan Gluten Free Bakery.

After indulging in delicious gluten free treats and a great atmosphere provided by Simone and the team at Artizan, guests then joined Phil from Time Safaris Rockhampton Walking Tours, where they learned of Rockhampton’s somewhat onerous and dark past.

The perfect storyteller, Phil has been a museum educator and designed tours for world leading institutions including the Australian War Memorial, the Smithsonian, Chicago’s Field Museum, London Natural History Museum, Australian National Botanic Gardens, Capricorn Caves and National Film and Sound Archives.

Spanning over two local businesses in this instance, our valued Member’s Networking Night’s (aside from making connections and building relationships) also showcase the wonderful and diverse businesses that we have in our backyard.

The next Member’s Networking Night will be held on Wednesday 17th May at Echelon Rooftop in Yeppoon. This event will welcome special partners and guests including Queensland Tourism Industry Council, Channel 7 Presenter Chris Parsons, and the CQU Village Festival Committee and representatives.
