BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks – Carnarvon Gorge secures funding under the Activate Ecotourism Infrastructure initiative

Congratulations to BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks who have secured significant funding for their Carnarvon Gorge Park as part of the Activate Ecotourism Infrastructure initiative thanks to the Queensland Government. The project is already underway, with expected completion in stages starting from April 2024. In a project worth around $5 million, it will include a new restaurant, cabins and a solar farm that will leave us predominantly off-grid.
The Park has also started the process of becoming an eco-certified property with assistance from Capricorn Enterprise. This significant project and certification will put BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks – Carnarvon Gorge on the world stage and gain significant trade, media and industry recognition.
