Central Queensland’s reputation as the economic powerhouse of our state will be made known once again at the 2023 Major Projects and Industry Forum, to be held on Thursday 19th October in Rockhampton.
Featuring 12 keynote speakers covering the overarching topics of Regional Futures and Projects, Health and Education, and Energy, the Forum will bring together decision-makers, all delving into future industry trends, collaborative opportunities, regional insights, and key developments leading to new economic opportunities.
The Forum’s anticipated panel discussion will return, raising important discussion among the like-minded individuals filling the room.
Proudly hosted by Capricorn Enterprise, the 2023 Major Projects and Industry Forum which will be held at the Frenchville Sports Club, is tipped to be a sell-out, and expected to be larger and more prolific than previous events.
Mary Carroll, CEO of Capricorn Enterprise said, “Our strategic location and abundant natural resources positions us positively for future opportunities as our state continues to grow.”
“This valuable annual Forum provides an essential meeting place for key industry representatives to hear first-hand about future trends, forthcoming projects, and regional challenges.”
“Based on previous years, we know that this highly sought-after event sells out quickly, so we urge those interested to secure your seat and join us as we continue to take this forum to the next level.”
Principal Engineer Connections Policy and Process at Energy Queensland – Christina Green, will share her extensive experience in demand management, network planning, generation and customer standards, strategy, and network connections. She will join returning and valuable speakers such as Dr Emma McCahon from Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service, Gene Tunney from Adept Economics, and Mark Cope from SunWater (Rookwood Weir).
“Capricorn Enterprise is proud to continue bringing industry representatives together to focus on important improvements helping to create a more innovative, sustainable and competitive industry that the entire region benefits from,” Mary said.
