Capricorn Coast, Southern Great Barrier Reef, represented to Swiss travel agents

Last week, Capricorn Enterprise’s Southern Great Barrier Reef Representative, Eloise Chaffers, represented the Capricorn Coast during a Southern Great Barrier Reef webinar, alongside Loni Hammond (Bundaberg Tourism) and Nicola Smith (GAPDL).
The webinar was with Swiss travel agent, travelhouse, part of the Hotelplan Group, the largest travel organisation in Switzerland. It was an opportunity that came as a result of face-to-face appointments in Chantilly, France in December 2023 and eight (8) of their wholesale agents were able to attend, who will distribute the recording to their retail agents.
The Hotelplan Group owns a network of 82 travel agencies and around 500 independent agencies throughout Switzerland, with a wide customer base from backpackers to luxury travellers.
The Southern Great Barrier Reef is already included in one suggested itinerary, so it was an incredible opportunity to develop knowledge for agents as well as having the recording stored in their database for future reference.
