A little love of the community in which she lives has caused a stir among the Capricorn Coast, and this Sunday 11th February, founder of Yeppoon’s Stir & Stitch, Amanda Rickard shares her story on Channel 9’s popular lifestyle show – My Way.
A self-confessed Home Economics addict, Amanda tells of her passion for building community, life-long learning, teaching, back-to-basics living and relishing the slow things in life. Aside from hosting a range of activities, including Yeppoon’s only teahouse, along with hosting high teas, private events and catering, visitors to Stir & Stitch are also able to join in a range of cooking, sewing and creative workshops.
Tune in to Channel 9 from 5.30pm on Sunday and celebrate Amanda’s success in transforming her dreams into a successful reality.
My Way has a weekly viewing audience of 232,250 and a cumulative audience of 2.1 million viewers, so this kind of national marketing is hugely valuable, providing great exposure for our entire destination, and importantly local operators.
