Capricorn Enterprise’s Industry Engagement Manager, Frank Edwards attended an Energy Queensland (EQ) event this week at Headricks Lane in Rockhampton.
EQ’s Chief Customer Officer, Michael Dart, acknowledged Capricorn Enterprise’s assistance with EQL’s local engagement and the regulatory reset in his closing remarks.
Energy Queensland is Australia’s largest 100% publicly owned electricity company and this event provided an opportunity to discuss the Energy and Jobs Plan together with Central Queensland’s abundance of renewable resources.
The Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan outlines our pathway to a clean, reliable, and affordable energy system to provide power for generations.
The plan is for every Queenslander, our industries, and our economy, leveraging the state’s natural advantages to:
- Build a clean and competitive energy system for the economy and industries as a platform for accelerating growth
- deliver affordable energy for households and business, and support more rooftop solar and batteries
- drive better outcomes for workers and communities as partners in the energy transformation.
