Something for every age in Easter on the Capricorn Coast activity guide!
Posted on March 19th, 2024
Livingstone Shire Council is delighted to announce the much-anticipated Easter on the Capricorn Coast 2024 program, thoughtfully planned to engage the hearts and minds of our vibrant youth community.
Proudly presented and facilitated by Council in collaboration with several local community groups and organisations, this jam-packed program promises an array of interactive activities tailored to ignite the spirit of adventure and creativity in our young residents.
From 29 March to 14 April, youth across Livingstone Shire are invited to immerse themselves in an exciting line-up of over 20 events designed to foster connection, learning, and above all, fun!
A Council spokesperson said Council was proud to continue to deliver school holiday programmes throughout the year, which have been a huge success since launching in 2021.
“Not only do these programs offer meaningful experiences for the young people in our community, they also benefit our business community in providing an economic boost encouraging more activity within the town centres,” the spokesperson said.
“There are also three courses available to students aged between 15- 25 to obtain their White Card, First Aid training, or RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) which form part of Queensland Youth Week (7—to 13 April).
“The youth of Livingstone are the beating heart of our community, and it’s important that we acknowledge and celebrate their amazing achievements and contributions, which form a huge part of the vitality of our region.”
