Last week, Capricorn Enterprise was pleased to organise two fabulous events, on behalf of Chair of CQ32 Rowing Legacy Advisory Committee, Member for Rockhampton Donna Kirkland.
On Tuesday 21st July our CQ32 Committee enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Rocky’s newest restaurant, Sin, Sweat and Sorrow wine and tapas lounge in the beautiful sandstone building, formally the Post Office in East street.
On Wednesday Wed 22nd July, local Businesses enjoyed a Networking Night at Empire Conference Centre with catering from Cocobrew Riverfront.
- Dominique Lamb – Director of Community Affairs to the President, Brisbane Organising Committee for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games
- Maurice Longbottom – Australian Rugby Olympian (Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024) and international World Rugby Sevens Star. Paris 2024 was the men’s rugby sevens team’s best-ever finish at an Olympic Games.
- Rachael Watson – Paralympian Gold Medalist Swimmer (Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020, Paris 2024), setting a new Paralympic record in both 2016 and 2020.
