Paradise Lagoons Campdraft 2016

The sport of campdrafting comes from the drovers of early rural Queensland, who would “cut out” individual cattle from the mob. Today, the brightest and best converge on Paradise Lagoons to compete for the sports largest prize purse in Australia.
The event, running from Thursday 11 – Sunday 14 August, is located in the specially built, multimillion dollar facility at Paradise Lagoons, located between Rockhampton and Gracemere.
Events don’t get much more authentic than this, and the level of skill displayed is breathtaking. Take the family to the finals across the weekend and on Saturday night enjoy the spectacle of the State of Origin.
