Grow your tourism business – Capacity Building Programs
Download – Small Business Entrepreneur Grants Program – Provides matched funding up to $5,000 to eligible businesses (less than 20 employees) to engage a consultant, advisor or coach to help establish or develop the business.
Download – Accelerate Small Business Grants Program – Provides matched funding of up to $10,000 for small businesses that demonstrate high-growth and employment potential to engage an advisory board or independent advisor, for between 6–12 months. Applications are open continuously and assessed monthly.
Download – Accelerate Indigenous Small Business Grants Program – Provides grant funding of up to $20,000 to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses small businesses that demonstrate growth and employment aspirations to enable them to engage high-level expertise for their business.
Download – Small Business Digital Grants Program – Provides matched funding of up to $10,000 for eligible businesses (less than 20 employees, less than $2m turnover) to access to digital technologies and services.
Download – Mentoring for Growth (M4G) – Mentoring for Growth provides a free 90-minute mentoring session with a panel of business experts who can offer insights and options to address your business challenges. Panels are held in all major centres in Queensland and by videoconference. Specialised panels can be convened to assist businesses with investment readiness, export readiness, and disaster recovery.
Download – Small Business Solutions – Small Business Solutions is dedicated to helping design and implement the big ideas for a business. Delivered through a series of workshops and one-on-one mentoring, they will work with businesses to figure out the ideal solution.
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships –The Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) program forms part of the Advance Queensland initiative, helping to create partnerships with universities to exchange skills and ideas to inspire innovation. Businesses can apply for grant funding to bring a graduate into their business to work on an innovative project such a strategies to attract visitors.
Tourism Partnerships (AusIndustry) – Provides groups of tourism businesses in northern Australia (above the tropic of Capricorn) with access to an experienced Business Facilitator for over 12 months. The group will create a Tourism Partnerships Action Plan so they can identify opportunities and strategies for common business interests.
