Luxury Expedition Cruise to Visit Keppel Bay this Thursday 13th March
Posted on March 11th, 2025
Launched in 2023, carrying 228 guests with one staff per passenger, the 6 star ultra luxury cruise vessel Scenic Eclipse II will be dipping her keel in the Keppel Bay waters near Great Keppel Island this Thursday 13th March (weather and conditions permitting) as part of a 12 day itinerary “Along the East Coast of Australia; Beaches & the Great Barrier Reef” starting in Auckland NZ and ending in Cairns. The itinerary includes visits to Brisbane, Lady Elliott Island, Great Keppel Island, Percy Islands, Whitsunday Islands and Magnetic Island before ending in Cairns.
The expedition cruise ship will be using its own helicopters and submersible plus zodiac, kayak, snorkel, etc from the vessel, and will enjoy one of the 18 secluded islands on Great Keppel Island to provide its guests with the feeling of intrepid explorers. Locals may be fortunate to get a glimpse of this magnificent vessel from the mainland, depending on where it docks on Thursday.
Capricorn Enterprise hosted a representative from Scenic Cruises as part of a larger famil group in partnership with the Australian Cruise Association (ACA) last July 2024.
Capricorn Enterprise has been proactively targeting the cruise market since it joined the ACA in 2023 and since then has hosted a number of key cruise representatives and shore excursion companies.
Great Keppel Island and the Capricorn Coast are quite literally now on the Queensland cruise map!
