Australia-Singapore Military Training Initiative: Tier 1 Company delivers Local Industry Briefing

Capricorn Enterprise is working with all selected Defence Primes/Tier 1 Companies advancing regional industry capability to ensure that industry is not only engaged in the process but the 65% regional content (65% of $800 million) is maximised.

Capricorn Enterprise has offered all five (5) Defence Primes/Tier 1 Companies the opportunity to brief our local industry in individual forums.

Defence Minister The Hon Maris Payne recently confirmed that the five selected Defence Primes/Tier 1 Companies advancing to Tender for the $M800> ASMTI scheduled for the Shoalwater Bay Military Training Area between 2019 – 2022 are:

  • CPB CONTRACTORS/DOWNER EDI WORKS (Joint Venture)
  • CIVMEC/SEMBCORP (Joint Venture)
  • FULTON HOGAN/DECMIL (Joint Venture)
  • LAING O’ROURKE
  • LENDLEASE

Last Friday May 18th 2018 in response to a request from one of the ASMTI Primes,  Civmec – Sembcorp JV, Capricorn Enterprise continued its positive role in support of regional businesses by assisting with the delivery of their ASMTI Local Industry Briefing.

With in excess of seventy (70) industry representatives from across the broader CQ Region attending, Civmec CEO Pat Tallon gauged the forum a great success. Regionally based companies interested in engaging with Civmec – Sembcorp JV are encouraged to submit their capability statements/quad charts directly to Civmec at: communications@civmec.com.au.
