Major Projects Update – in excess of $70B in regional projects

Projects valued at in excess of $70 Billion are detailed in the latest edition of the Capricorn Enterprise Central Qld Major Projects Report released today.
Whilst coal projects total a massive $64.0 Billion, other general infrastructure projects make up the difference including Shoalwater Bay Remediation Project, ADF/Singapore Armed Forces Military Training Initiative, Rookwood Weir, Great Keppel Island Recovery Package, schools, national and state funded roads and bridges, plus local government capital works including community infrastructure, sewerage treatment plant upgrades and road networks.
Whilst Capricorn Enterprise takes all possible measures to source reliable infrastructure information in producing the Major Projects Report it notes that the Report maybe deficient due to the lack of specific detail on commercial developments which aren’t necessarily available for confidential reasons.
