The morning after
If you wake early (or get no sleep at all), come morning, 2019’s first sunrise will be revealed at the Capricorn Coast’s iconic landmarks.
Be one of the few to welcome the first rays of sunshine for 2019 at the Centenary of ANZAC Memorial Walk. The walkway is intended as an emotional reflective experience and provides a timeline of WW1’s many major battles of war.
To watch the sunrise over the ocean, head up to the Wreck Point Lookout or Bluff Point Circuit and be rewarded with panoramic views of the Capricorn coastline and the Keppel Bay islands
Whether you’re a local, new in town, or just passing through, we’ve got you covered with something fun to help you say ‘sayonara’ to the year that was. Have a wonderful time!
