4th Brando campaign shot in destination
Posted on February 26th, 2019
In the middle of Rocky’s summer, could you imagine wearing a three piece suit and woollen overcoat for 8 hours?
Around the Corner Creative were at it again shooting the Brando Winter 2019 campaign, this time collaborating with local agency the Light-Group and their premier venue, Headricks Lane in the CBD, utilising its gritty back lane ways and sleek masculine interiors to create a melding of genres.
Taking inspiration from the cult British series, Peaky Blinders (set in Birmingham, England in the aftermath of World War 1) the creative team drew from the 1880s heritage of the Headricks building as well as its modern make-over to establish a backdrop for Brando’s Winter collection.
The team was made up of owners, photographer Naomi Pelletier and stylist Penny Hunt, as well as drone operator Jef Pelletier, hairstylist Jenna Alexander, make-up artist Rachel Hollaway, assistants Georgia Swebbs and Maxine Moore and of course the very ‘hot’ model, Tom O’Conner, from Chadwicks agency in Sydney.
Creative stylist Penny Hunt said “Without the ongoing support from incredible local locations/venues and visionary organisations like Capricorn Enterprise we wouldn’t be able to bring these creative projects to the region.”
Ms Hunt said “Our ultimate goal for 2019 is to see many more campaigns showcasing the Capricorn Coast and the vast plethora of landscapes it has to offer. This is our fourth Brando photo shoot in the destination, including Pumpkin Island, Yeppoon Lagoon, Byfield and now Headricks Lane in Rockhampton.”
