Posted on October 8th, 2019
With only sixteen (16) days until the Region’s Premier Major Projects Forum, Capricorn Enterprise Regional Economic Development Manager, Neil Lethlean, urges business and industry leaders to register.
The Capricorn Enterprise Major Projects Forum is on again Friday 25th October at Korte’s Resort, with project directors and managers for many of the major projects here to share their experience and knowledge of what is happening with their projects and when works are going ahead.
Mr Lethlean, outlined the importance of the event to the region. “With over $3.6 billion in projects planned and underway over the next decade, our local business and industry need to hear directly from the industry professionals in order to tap into upcoming work projects.”
The Forum will feature a thought-provoking Keynote Presentation to be delivered by Cr Paul Antonio, Mayor of Toowoomba Regional Council, about securing regional investment and the importance of Government/Industry co-operation and collaboration.
“The full program promises to deliver the latest details on regional projects directly from those managing the projects, panel sessions for in-depth discussion, questioning and networking with industry,” Mr Lethlean said.
Registrations for the Forum close this Friday 11th October and full details of the presenters and program can be found on Capricorn Enterprise’s Business Event Calendar
“This is your opportunity to engage with the major project proponents and network further with presenters and other industries,” explained Mr Lethlean. “Anyone involved in business and industry across Central Queensland should not miss this event.”
