Celebrating 21 years of Freedom

We all dream of making waves on our 21st birthday, and on New Year’s Day, Keppel Bay’s Freedom Fast Cats did exactly that.
One of the busiest days so far for the new decade, local day-trippers and holiday makers joined the crew from Freedom Fast Cats to celebrate New Year’s Day and this special milestone with summer sunshine, perfect weather and the always tropical waters of the Keppel Islands.
With island living and boats in their blood, the Allen family took their first trip across Keppel Bay under the ‘Freedom Fast Cat’ banner back in 1999.
Since then they have taken the daily journey from Rosslyn Bay Harbour to Great Keppel Island, proudly showcasing our island paradise to thousands of locals and visitors.
Now operating five ferries and two glass bottom boats, Max Allen Jnr spent the anniversary reflecting on the past 21 years, thrilled to see the business thriving as popularity continues to grow for the Capricorn Coast and Keppel Islands.

“We’ve just launched a new website and online booking system, which we know will increase our business even more during 2020.”
