Rockhampton Airport Terminal works progressing

The upgrades to the Rockhampton Airport Terminal, including a new mezzanine floor and passenger lounges are on track for completion, thanks to $6.44 million from the Palaszczuk Government’s $200 million COVID Works for Queensland program.

The new passenger lounges, mezzanine floor and the terminal will be a tremendous first impression for visitors to this beautiful region.

The upgrade has supporting more than 50 local jobs, with COVID Works for Queensland funding integral to the terminal upgrade.

The upgraded terminal will improve liveability and a a major boost for tourism in our community with significant benefits as our tourism sector grows, providing visitors with an impressive gateway to all that the region has to offer and a warm welcome back for travelling locals.
