New Events Hub – What’s On in Central Queensland

Whether you’re looking for something to do on the weekend or wanting to buy the hottest tickets around, Visit Capricorn ‘What’s On’ events hub offers an easy and convenient way to search for events and festivals in the Capricorn region.
With over 100 sources fed into the ‘What’s On’ page through the Everi event platform, the site offers a comprehensive search function, where you can find upcoming sporting, music, markets, performing arts, health and wellbeing, food and wine events, along with fishing competitions, art workshops and activities for the kids… and the list goes on.
The new Visit Capricorn ‘What’s On’ section has a friendly user interface, which is easy to navigate and allows you to:
- Easily browse events – search can be all events or narrowed downs to category, date, and location.
- Get up to date on local events.
- Create an event alert from any search and be notified by email with upcoming events.
- Your own event calendar with your saved events.
- Be reminded of events you have tagged as a favourite.
- Share events with your friends and family.
This year the region’s event calendar is jam packed! With the CQUniversity The Village Festival, Yeppoon Triathlon, Capricorn Food & Wine Festival, Country on Keppel, Beef Australia, Capricorn Coast Writers Festival, Swim Around Keppel, Brisbane to Keppel Yacht Race, paradise Lagoons Campdraft, Gemfest Festival of Gems, Fitzroy River Barra Bash, Pop-Up Polo and Rockhampton River Festival just to name some events on offer.
