BEEF21 Seal of Approval showcasing our local restaurants

Multi-award-winning Waterline Restaurant at Keppel Bay Marina has been one of the first local restaurants to receive Beef Australia’s official Seal of Approval.

The Seal of Approval, which recognises brand integrity and those businesses that promote the use of Australian beef, was launched in March, with the first round of successful applicants just announced.

Using beef provided directly from their family cattle property, Banana Station, and handcrafting all their products purely from nature, The Waterline’s Kylie Smith is committed to weaving fresh, local produce into their delectable menus.

“We are proud to continue to fly the flag for local produce, and serving local beef produced on our own Central Qld cattle properties makes for a genuine paddock to plate dining experience,” Kylie said.

“The Seal of Approval is a great acknowledgement for restaurants who showcase beef as more than just a token steak on the menu… our signature Banana Station Beef Tataki which has won the Beef Australia Award for excellence at the last three events is just one example, our house made beef dumplings, beef short ribs and beef aburi are also popular choices from our new menu.”

As part of the Beef Australia event, The Waterline will be running beef menu specials, and a special Banana Station Beef banquet menu, so get into the Beef spirit, support local and be sure to book in for the best Local Beef dining experience in the region.

Capricorn Enterprise is thrilled to see our local restaurants including The Waterline, The Red Lion Hotel and The Rocks highlighted in the lead up to one of Australia’s largest beef expo and look forward to seeing many more receive the Seal over the coming weeks.
