One week until Capricorn Enterprise Major Projects Forum
Posted on October 19th, 2021
Just days out from the region’s premier industry event, tickets are selling quickly, and Capricorn Enterprise is calling on anyone wishing to attend the 2021 Major Projects Forum to book today to avoid disappointment.
With a massive line up of exciting speakers focusing on future energy, project delivery, technology and innovation, and local content, this year’s event is packed with significant information relating to the $5bn dollars of projects and developments planned and underway across our region.
Proudly supported by CQG Consulting and John Holland, the Forum is pleased to welcome a line-up of inspiring leading professionals representing a broad range of industry.
Industry Engagement Manager for Capricorn Enterprise, Frank Edwards is certain that this year’s event is going to provide game-changing information for our region.
“Within our region, roads, energy, defence and water projects are expected to sustain elevated levels of project activity, the most significant being the $1bn Rockhampton Ring Road and the Defence initiatives at Shoalwater Bay,” Frank said.
“Aside from speakers who have attended the Forum previously to update on long-term project progressions, this year we welcome new faces such as Lewis Glynn who heads up Project Delivery at Surf Lakes, and Elyse Reithmuller, CEO of Fitzroy Basin Association.”
The 2021 Major Projects Forum will discuss the unprecedented opportunities for regional business and local workforce across the Central Queensland region and provide an insight into the adapted delivery and evolution of key major projects amidst the pandemic-forced ‘new normal’.
“Due to COVID-19, many business models have required change, and the Forum will provide a platform to discuss not only the great steps our region has taken forward, but also the challenges and triumphs along the rollercoaster ride of the past 18 months,” Frank said.
The Major Projects Forum will be held at Frenchville Sports Club on Thursday 28th October. Speaking segments will be followed by a panel interview session to allow further conversation on interested topics. Formalities will also be followed by a networking event at the completion of the day.
