Beef Australia welcomes new Event Manager

In a bid to deliver another record-breaking event in 2024, Beef Australia has today welcomed aboard their newest team member and Event Manager, Tash Bury.

Beef Australia CEO Simon Irwin says the organisation is excited to have Tash joining their dynamic leadership team in the lead up to the 2024 event.

“With planning well underway for the 2024 triennial event, it’s important to me and the board of directors that we have a leadership team onboard who are eager to work together across all facets of the event so that we can deliver another record-breaking and award-winning event”, Mr Irwin said.

“Tash comes to the organisation with an impressive background in event and project management, having worked on Groundwater Country Music Festival, Blues on Broadbeach, Darwin Supercars, Red Centrenats, and Rockhampton’s inaugural Rockynats 01.

“Tash will be responsible for overseeing our program of events including cattle competitions, seminars and tech talks, entertainment, property tours, celebrity chefs and catered social events like the High Tea and Beef Ball.

“It’s a big role but I have no doubt that Tash will take it head on.

“Our leadership team now consists of five, with a sixth due to commence within the coming month”.

Beef Australia Event Manager Tash Bury says working with Beef Australia has been a lifelong dream.

“As a Rockhampton local, I’ve grown up looking forward to each of the Beef Australia events”, Ms Bury said.

“With a passion for event and project management, I’ve lived and worked all over the nation on small to large scale events, but it’s exciting to have an opportunity like this back on home soil.

“I’m really looking forward to getting to know the team and delivering what I hope to be one of the best Beef Australia events yet”.

Beef Australia will be increasing their staff over the next 6 to 12 months, with positions opening across all areas of the event. To find out more, get in touch with the office at careers@beefaustralia.com.au.
