Capricorn Enterprise meets with Federal Shadow Cabinet

With Federal Shadow Cabinet meeting in Rockhampton over the past two days, Capricorn Enterprise CEO Mary Carroll was very pleased to host Federal Shadow Minister for Trade and Tourism Kevin Hogan MP on a whirlwind tour of Rockhampton and the Capricorn Coast, visiting hotspots including Nurim Skywalk Mount Archer N/P, Yeppoon Lagoon, Keppel Bay Marina, ANZAC Memorial/Singing Ship Emu Park, before he met colleagues at the Rockhampton Museum of Art (RMOU) for Shadow Cabinet meetings.  In a relatively short space of time, Ms Carroll was able to brief the Shadow Minister on a whole raft of topics relevant to his portfolio on behalf of our businesses and destination.  On Tuesday evening, CEO Mary Carroll attended the “Politics in the Pub” event to meet with Federal Shadow Cabinet Members, followed by a Women’s breakfast on Wednesday morning.

Capricorn Enterprise CEO Mary Carroll said “having the entire Federal Shadow Cabinet in Rockhampton provided an excellent opportunity to meet with many elected representatives in our nation at one time.  I commend our Federal Member for Capricornia in keeping Rockhampton and our Capricorn region at the forefront to her national colleagues.”
