Killer Queen Experience set to bring ‘A Kind of Magic’ to Great Keppel Island

It’s the 2-hour live tribute that has delivered sold out shows in the UK, Norway, Singapore, Russia, India, and Australia, and now the popular Queen tribute is ready to rock Great Keppel Island on 18th February.

With an uncanny resemblance to the flamboyant and iconic Freddie Mercury, Killer Queen Experience’s front man, John Blunt will transport ticket buyers back in time with Queen’s Greatest Hits including Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are the Champions, Somebody to Love, Radio Ga Ga, Another One Bites the Dust and more!

The Brisbane-based group dedicating their finest hour to Britain’s regal rock quartet, will rock our local barefoot paradise this month.

Hosted proudly by Great Keppel Island Hideaway, the extravagant show will take place overlooking our fabulous Southern Great Barrier Reef, with Hideaway Manager Kelly Harris thrilled to showcase the Island via amazing live events.

“Great Keppel Island Hideaway is proud to host an exciting array of events across 2023 that we are certain will entertain visitors and locals alike,” Kelly said.

“Great Keppel Island offers the best of both worlds – a relaxing place to unwind and enjoy the variety of activities available with family and friends, and has also fast become a live entertainment venue, boasting a spectacular backdrop.”

“With a fantastic line-up of music planned across the year, we encourage the community to schedule a trip to come for the day, night or a whole weekend.”
