New Destination Visitor Guides hot off the press!

From quirky public art trails to a delicious beach menu, inspiring bucket list experiences to the most insta-worthy photo spots, Capricorn Enterprise is pleased to release the official 2023/24 Insider’s Guide for Yeppoon and the Capricorn Coast.
Growing year on year with new product, content, tips and ideas, the free glove-box size 70-page booklet covers everything visitors to our destination need to know to make their stay both enjoyable and unforgettable.
Featuring information and contact details for over 60 local businesses, the Guide also covers off on getting around, major events, reef and national parks, fishing spots and more.
The Yeppoon and Capricorn Coast Insider’s Guide is fully funded through advertising with a record number of local businesses (double that of the 2022 edition) buying into the respected publication.
Capricorn Enterprise Tourism Marketing Manager, Krista Brown said that the growth in advertising in this edition shows just how valued and well utilised the Guide is within the business community.
“Increasing by 12 pages from the last edition, advertisers range from accommodation, restaurants, tours and attractions right through to retail, real estate and mechanics,” Krista said.
“This diversity of content positions the Guide in great stead as a true and accurate summary of our entire Capricorn Coast destination, spanning from Stanage Bay to Keppel Bay and the townships in between including Yeppoon, Emu Park, Rockhampton, Byfield, Keppel Sands, The Caves and Stanage Bay.”
With a 12-month shelf life, 40,000 copies of the tourism and lifestyle publication have been printed and will be displayed in 102 accredited Visitor Information Centres across Queensland, together with other Visitor Information Centres along key feeder highways such as the Newell Highway which feeds into Leichardt Highway.
In addition, the Guide will be distributed through local accommodation houses, tourist attractions and businesses, and available to view and read online or download as an e-mag on visitcapricorn.com.au, livecapricorncoast.com.au and Queensland.com.
“I encourage residents to grab some copies from the Capricorn Coast Visitor Information Centre and share with their friends and family to showcase the wonderful offerings we have right here in our backyard,” Krista said.
“Throughout the year, we will also distribute directly to households in targeted locations, as well as including in all regional relocation/welcome packs.”
The Yeppoon and Capricorn Coast Insider’s Guide is the primary piece of marketing collateral produced by Capricorn Enterprise. Representing all Capricorn Coast precincts, the Guide is intended for tactical use to disperse visitors/customers throughout our region, increase their length of stay, and to aid families when relocating.
