Capricorn Food and Wine Festival and Fitzroy Barra Bash funding success

The latest round of the Queensland Destination Events Program (QDEP) has been announced, and two local events (Capricorn Food and Wine Festival $15,000 and Fitzroy River Barra Bash $15,000) are among the 31 successful in obtaining funding.
QDEP seeks to leverage the crucial link between events and the destination in which they are staged, extending the flow on effects of the economic, marketing and social benefits of events throughout metropolitan and regional Queensland.
Capricorn Enterprise works with Tourism and Events Queensland to assess and endorse all QDEP applications, and we congratulate Capricorn Food and Wine Festival and Fitzroy Barra Bash on their successful applications in Round 24.
