The Shelter Collective opens it’s first four affordable cottages

With a mission to provide affordable safe shelter for all, community driven group The Shelter Collective has proudly opened its first four cottages and representatives of Capricorn Enterprise had the pleasure of being part of the celebrations.
The Shelter Collective is a collaborative group of “experienced and highly motivated individuals” from CQ looking to find a solution to the region’s homelessness and affordable housing crisis, with partners including Apprentices and Trainees Queensland, Roseberry QLD and Anglicare CQ.
The first four ARC-20 units, are named after their sponsor businesses including Positive NRG, Hayman Villa, Holcim Cottage and Arcadia (sponsored by Apprentices and Trainees QLD).
Housing affordability is an issue that affects every corner of the country. Let’s all help to provide solutions for generations to come.
