Christmas cheer was on the menu for our wonderful Capricorn Coast Visitor Information Centre volunteers at Yeppoon’s Stir & Stitch on Tuesday night.
Every year, our 35 incredible volunteers, supported by our lovely VIC Supervisor Sarah Lawrence, welcome nearly 18,000 guests through the doors of the VIC in Yeppoon and field nearly 2,000 phone calls. They volunteer nearly 8,000 hours per annum and book our local tours, accommodation, activities and attractions on behalf of our regional operators.
To each and every one of you, on behalf of our business community and broader community we say a very genuine THANK YOU! for your generosity.
Without our volunteers we would not be able to operate an Accredited Visitor Information Centre seven days a week, 363 days a year.
We wish all volunteers across our community a very safe and happy festive season.
