Funtastic Cruises launches ‘The Kraken’ just in time for school holidays

Local brothers Ollie and Carl from Funtastic Cruises are proud to introduce a new custom-built speed boat, ‘The Kraken’ to Keppel Bay, offering day trips to Great Keppel Island.
At a launch held at The Waterline Restaurant on Thursday 30th December, media and guests had the opportunity to hear first-hand about the capabilities of the new vessel and jump onboard for a look around the exciting new tour offering for the Capricorn Coast region.
Moving at 23 knots, the ‘Kraken’ is set to transport guests over to the islands in 15-20 minutes, running seven days a week.
A first of its kind for the nation, the fast boat will slice through the waves in all weather conditions, providing a quick, comfortable, yet exhilarating adventure for its passengers.
The Kraken’s arrival at Keppel Bay Marina is timely, as we kick off our busy festive season.
