Volunteers needed – Landscaping and handy people

Do you have landscaping or handyperson skills and expertise?

Fitzroy Community Hospice need your help to put the finishing touches on the Hospice. You can be part of this legacy project by volunteering to help make the facility a welcoming and comfortable place of palliative care and support for the people of Central Queensland.

Who do we need? A core team of skilled and experienced Landscaping or Handyperson volunteers.

How much time is needed? At least 8 hours per week (weekdays and/or weekends)

When? From mid January to approximately April

Where? 38 Agnes Street, The Range, Rockhampton

Introducing Beth Thomas

It is with great pleasure that the Board of Directors introduce Beth Thomas, who has been appointed as Fitzroy Community Hospice Chief Executive Officer – Director of Clinical Services.

Beth is a Registered Nurse and has extensive health leadership and management experience, most recently as Executive Officer of Mater Private Hospital Mackay.
