Beach, Boots and Beats delivers stellar line-up for an afternoon of live outdoor entertainment!

Lace up your dancing boots, throw down your picnic blanket and buckle up for an evening full of fantastic live country music and entertainment for the first Beach, Boots and Beats event!

Council is thrilled to present this exciting event to be held on Saturday 4 May from 5pm – 9pm at the Yeppoon foreshore, which will help set the tone for the world-renowned triennial event, Beef24, in Rockhampton from 5 – 11 May.

Taking to the Yeppoon Amphitheatre stage as the event’s headline act is internationally acclaimed three-piece sibling band from Byron Bay known as, The Buckleys.

Joining the line-up are Central Queensland’s very own talents: the soulful Brad Butcher and the sensational Denvah, a finalist of Australian Idol 2024.

But it’s not just for the grown-ups! Bring the whole family along and enjoy interactive musical sessions with Maggie Moo Music, guaranteed to delight the little ones and the young at heart alike.

A Council spokesperson said the outdoor musical occasion promises residents and visitors a family-friendly evening of toe-tapping fun, celebrating local talent and creating unforgettable memories on the scenic Capricorn Coast.

“We’re proud to present this opportunity to the community to enjoy some impressive performances and family entertainment, where the Yeppoon foreshore is set to transform into a vibrant stage of country music magic,” the spokesperson said.

“This event is the first of its kind as hosted by Council, and we’re encouraging locals and the wider community to come along and see what it’s all about!”

Aside from the stellar musical talent on offer, the Melville’s Pioneer Farm animal nursery and duck races will provide patrons of all ages a hands-on experience with a wide variety of cute, cuddly and unique farm animals!

With plenty of food options available throughout the Yeppoon CBD, showgoers are encouraged to support our local businesses and grab a take-away option to enjoy while watching the show.
