Johnson’s 4WD a Top 5 finalist – CQ Qld Training Awards

With nominations for Queensland’s Training Awards closed and judging underway to pick regional finalists, congratulations to Johnson’s 4WD on once again being selected as a Top 5 Regional Finalist in the Central Queensland, Queensland Training Awards. It’s truly an impressive accomplishment, and we’re thrilled to see them progress to the next stage as a finalist.

Nathan and Nyree Johnson are passionate about training and developing their people and community. They had an amazing experience and reached the Top 3 in 2022 . Their lead Mechanic is currently undertaking university level qualifications via an Advanced Apprenticeship delivery model, facilitated by CQUniversity and funded by BHP.

The prestigious Queensland Training Awards have been shining a spotlight on excellence in training and the transformative power of skills since 1962.

Across a range of categories, the annual awards recognise individuals and organisations that strive for and have achieved success, best practice and innovation in vocational education and training (VET).

The awards showcase all that’s great about VET in Queensland, with categories for apprentices, trainees, vocational students, teachers and trainers, as well as training providers and employers.
