Global Sustainable Tourism Summit – People, Planet, Place, Purpose

The inaugural Global Sustainable Tourism Summit, hosted by Eco Tourism Australia, was held earlier this month in Brisbane. Attended by representatives of Capricorn Enterprise, Livingstone Shire Council and High Valley Dawn Permaculture Farm, guests from every state and territory in the country, as well as international attendees from NZ, Canada, South Africa, Solomon Islands and Saudi Arabia, formed a 280 passionate audience.
As the Capricorn Coast inches closer to achieving Eco Destination certification, following a journey over the past few years, this summit showcased inspirational speakers, topics and trends under the perfect Theme of “People, Planet, Place, Purpose”. Read the key takeaways here:
