Great Keppel Island Hideaway, Beef Australia & Rockhampton Regional Council Vie for National Glory at Australian Tourism Awards

The Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton region will be well represented at the prestigious Australian Tourism Awards on 21st March in Adelaide, with three outstanding local winners vying for national recognition.

Since 1984, the Australian Tourism Awards have been the nation’s premier recognition of excellence in the tourism industry, established to showcase and celebrate outstanding contributions to the sector.

After claiming gold at the Queensland Tourism Awards, Great Keppel Island Hideaway is in the running for top honours in the 3-3.5 star accommodation category.

Beef Australia 2024 is also in the spotlight, competing in both the Major Festivals and Events and Excellence in Food Tourism categories. And Rockhampton Regional Council is aiming for national glory in the Tourism Marketing and Campaigns category.

We look forward to hearing results and cheering on our destination representatives! Good luck.
