Keppel Bay Sailing Club to host 2026 O’pen Skiff World Titles!

The Keppel Bay Sailing Club Sailing Team has been hard at work over the past few months, preparing a bid to host the prestigious 2026 O’pen Skiff World Titles—and are thrilled to announce that they have won the hosting rights!
This is a major milestone for the Capricorn Coast and Keppel Bay Sailing Club, with an expected 150-200 young sailors from around the globe set to compete in Keppel Bay and the Southern Great Barrier Reef.
Many of these talented athletes could go on to race in the 2032 Olympics, making this an incredible opportunity to showcase our world-class sailing conditions and hospitality on an international stage. Beyond the competition, the event will also play a key role in upskilling volunteers and race officials from across Queensland, ensuring they are well-prepared for the Olympic-level events on the horizon.
