Luxurious Scenic Eclipse II arrives in Keppel Bay

On Thursday, 13th March, the breathtaking Scenic Eclipse II made its much-anticipated arrival in Keppel Bay, docking at the northern end of Great Keppel Island, near the pristine and secluded Secret Cove.

This ultra-luxury discovery yacht, designed to take guests on extraordinary voyages around the world, showcased the Capricorn Coast’s stunning natural beauty to its high-end passengers, further cementing our region as a must-visit destination for elite travellers.

Scenic Eclipse II is more than just a cruise ship; it’s a floating masterpiece of innovation and elegance. With just 114 suites, world-class dining, a state-of-the-art spa, and two on-board helicopters, the vessel redefines ocean exploration, allowing guests to immerse themselves in unique and remote destinations—just like our very own Great Keppel Island.

Capricorn Enterprise has long been advocating for the arrival of luxury cruise ships to our backyard, recognising the economic and tourism benefits they bring to our region. Through strategic lobbying and partnerships, we are thrilled to see this vision come to life, showcasing the Capricorn Coast as a premier stop for high-end cruise itineraries.

As we continue to position the region on the world stage, we look forward to welcoming more luxury cruise vessels to our shores in the future. Stay tuned for more exciting developments in the cruise tourism space—this is just the beginning!
