Showcasing the Capricorn Coast to Key Industry Partners

The Southern Great Barrier Reef was on show last week as Capricorn Enterprise proudly hosted four (4) key agents from major Inbound Travel Operator, Across Australia (formerly Goway Travel), welcoming key product and reservations staff to experience the beauty and diversity of our region first-hand.
The Capricorn Coast leg of the famil kicked off with a journey underground at the iconic Capricorn Caves, followed by site visits to Hedlow Retreat and Castle Rock Farm where the agents enjoyed the thrill of exploring the grounds by 4WD buggy. The group enjoyed overnight stays at Salt Yeppoon and High Valley Dawn Permaculture Farm, as well as experiencing the vibrant dining scene with a hosted dinner at The Station, 4703 and Beaches Restaurant.
Great Keppel Island delivered stunning reef and island experiences with Keppel Konnections and Great Keppel Island Hideaway, before an unforgettable Freedom Fast Cats adventure cruise, including glass bottom boat tours, snorkelling, and boomnetting. Before departing for the next stage of their journey, the group visited the iconic Koorana Crocodile Farm to get up close with some of the region’s most impressive reptiles—a truly unique Capricorn Coast experience.
While the wider famil continued to Gladstone and Bundaberg—featuring experiences such as the 1770 LARC! Tour, and stays at Mantra Gladstone—the Capricorn Coast provided the perfect first impression, highlighting the region’s nature, adventure, and hospitality.
