After a soft opening in time for Easter earlier this year, Keppel Sands Caravan Park has now officially celebrated its grand re-opening on Wednesday 1 October 2025, marking a new chapter for this much-loved coastal escape.
Under the experienced lease of Murray and Deb McLay — also managers of Yeppoon’s popular Beachside Holiday Caravan Park — the revitalised park has undergone extensive upgrades since works began in October 2024.
The refreshed park now features additional powered sites, a refreshed 4-star amenities block, a pickleball court, crazy mini golf, a plunge pool, and landscaped surrounds, offering guests a relaxed yet premium holiday experience.
Nestled in the seaside village of Keppel Sands, the park remains a beloved haven for campers, fishers, and families seeking a quiet retreat by the water. For Murray and Deb, the project is about more than just accommodation — it’s about building income and opportunity for the local Keppel Sands community.
