Stay Yeppoon expands local portfolio with acquisition of Rosslyn Bay Resort management rights

Stay Yeppoon, which currently manages Salt Yeppoon, Echelon Yeppoon and Beaches on Lammermoor, has continued to strengthen its footprint on the Capricorn Coast with the recent management rights acquisition of the much-loved Rosslyn Bay Resort — a move that reflects ongoing confidence in the Yeppoon visitor economy and the region’s long-term tourism growth.

Australian accommodation specialists, Dreamtime Resorts supports Stay Yeppoon by delivering marketing services for the properties it manages, helping to showcase the Capricorn Coast’s accommodation offering through broader industry reach and targeted holiday promotion.

Long recognised as one of the region’s signature waterfront stays, Rosslyn Bay Resort enjoys a prime position at the gateway to the Keppel Bay Islands, with its relaxed coastal atmosphere and close proximity to the Rosslyn Bay Harbour precinct — a key departure point for visitors travelling to Great Keppel Island and the wider Southern Great Barrier Reef.

Managers Brigid Clarke and Tim Loydell said they are excited to bring Rosslyn Bay Resort into the Stay Yeppoon portfolio and build on the property’s strong local reputation.

“We’re proud to welcome Rosslyn Bay Resort into the Stay Yeppoon portfolio,” Brigid said.

“It’s a landmark property in one of the most spectacular parts of the Capricorn Coast, and we’re looking forward to continuing to enhance the guest experience while supporting the region’s visitor economy.”

Tim said the acquisition reflects Stay Yeppoon’s and Dreamtime Resort’s confidence in the continued strength of the destination.

“Yeppoon and the Capricorn Coast continue to attract strong interest from travellers seeking a relaxed, high-quality coastal escape,” Tim said.

“We’re excited to invest in the future of the region and work alongside local industry to keep building momentum.”

Capricorn Enterprise CEO Mary Carroll welcomed the announcement, noting the importance of ongoing accommodation investment to support visitation, dispersal and yield across the region.

“It’s fantastic to see continued confidence in our destination, and to have an experienced accommodation group expanding their presence here on the Capricorn Coast,” Mary said.

“We look forward to continuing our work with Brigid, Tim and the Stay Yeppoon team, as well as the marketing brand Dreamtime Resorts, as they grow their portfolio and help strengthen our visitor economy.”

The acquisition of Rosslyn Bay Resort management rights further strengthens Yeppoon’s growing suite of quality accommodation options and supports the Capricorn Coast’s growth as one of Queensland’s most accessible and appealing coastal holiday destinations.
