From 18–22 February, Capricorn Enterprise showcased the Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton region at the Victorian Caravan and Camping Super Show in Melbourne.
Volunteer Gary Lane from the Capricorn Coast Visitor Information Centre welcomed visitors each day, sharing brochures, maps, and local insights. Across the five-day event, more than 39,000 visitors attended.
Feedback highlighted the importance of the Capricorn Coast Region Visitor Guide and regional maps, with many visitors impressed by the diversity of experiences available. Travellers were encouraged to look beyond an overnight stop, with strong interest in planning multi-day stays and discovering the region’s hidden gems.
The presence of Capricorn Coast Visitor Information Centre helps keep the region front-of-mind for travellers planning their next self-drive holiday.
